On the occasion of 2003 World Rally Champion title won by Norwegian driver Petter Solberg Subaru created limited series special model Subaru Impreza WRX STi Petter Solberg Edition(PSE) – a bumped up version of the already fast Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

All WRX STi PSE versions are is equipped with DCCD, black interior upholstery(instead of blue on the regular WRX STi), Momo steering wheel with red stitching and special plaque in interior.

Our Subaru Impreza WRX STi PSE comes with factory installed Prodrive Performance Package(PPP) featuring Prodrive exhaust, turbo timer and Prodrive ECU boosting the power to 224kw. Inside the car you find comfortable and supportive bucket seats and a commemorative plaque on the dash.

Pair of switches beside the handbrake operate the DCCD - Driver’s Control Centre Differential, flick from automatic to manual mode and a dial allows you to vary the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels – delivering from 50 to 65 percent of the engines power to the rear axle. In automatic mode DCCD changes the power distribution based to the data supplied by the various dynamic sensors like ABS, accelerator position sensor, lateral acceleration sensor etc.

All this helps to transform Subaru Impreza WRX STi PSE performance on track. Where the regular Subaru Impreza WRX STi was a determined understeerer, the Subaru Impreza WRX STi PSE is hugely adjustable and in slower corners just stepping on the power allows you to indulge in classic rear-drive oversteer.

Back in 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX STi PSE was carrying a ten percent higher price tag compared with the regular Subaru Impreza WRX STi, only 500 units were produced and sold out fairly quickly.
